World Gold Council Responsible Gold Mining Principles

What You Need to Know

Standard for gold mining, defining requirements for responsible environmental, social and governance practices with the objective "to deliver responsibly produced gold into the market". The standard states that it "support[s] internationally recognised normative standards," including the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and various OECD guidelines.
