How long does MineralTrail take?
The guided process takes approximately 2-20 minutes to complete, depending on the number of modules selected. The process begins with a short setup section that takes about 1-2 minutes. Each module contains six questions and typically takes 1-3 minutes to complete. Enterprises may complete only the modules most relevant to them or all six modules for a more comprehensive overview.
How is my data protected?
The information provided through MineralTrail is used to generate personalised results and to support analysis of due diligence trends across sectors. Individual responses are not made public or used for external reporting at individual level.
What data do we collect? During setup, we ask for information about the enterprise, such as sector, size, and role in the mineral value chain. During the process, answers to the due diligence questions are recorded.
How is the data used? First, to generate the personalised report, including recommendations and relevant resources. Second, aggregated and anonymised data may be used to identify common due diligence gaps and improve MineralTrail and DiliCHANCE content over time.
Who can access individual responses? The user can access their individual report. Authorised administrators and technical service providers may access individual-level data where necessary for platform administration, maintenance, support, security, or troubleshooting.
How long is the data stored? Data from the process is stored until the user chooses to delete it. Results or the user account can be removed at any time from the profile page.
Do I have to provide my enterprise name?
No. Providing the enterprise name is optional.
How do I get my results?
An online report is generated after completion. The report can be viewed online, shared, and printed.
How many questions does MineralTrail include?
MineralTrail contains approximately 36 questions, structured around the six steps of the OECD due diligence framework.
Who should complete MineralTrail?
