What You Need to Know

Standard for steelmaking and processing, defining principles and requirements for the responsible sourcing and production of steel, with the objective to "maximise steel's contribution to a sustainable society". The standard states that it is "designed to align" with internationally recognised human rights instruments, including the International Bill of Human Rights, the ILO Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
