In­ter­na­tion­al Tin Association Tin Code

Standard for the tin industry defining environmental, social and governance requirements to "demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement in tin exploration projects, mining, smelting and recycling operations". The standard has been developed "taking into account international expectations", including the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct, OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict Affected and High Risk Areas and 3T Supplement and frameworks set out by the International Labour Organization.
