What You Need to Know

Standard for facilities to assess "due diligence practices in association with Environmental, Social, Occupational Health and Safety and Governance (ESG risks)". Standard states that it has "been developed in alignment with" the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, taking into consideration the six-step framework for risk-based due diligence set out in the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct, OECD Handbook on Environmental Due Diligence in Mineral Supply Chains, and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
