What You Need to Know

Standard for the minerals sector defining criteria for environmental, social and governance due diligence practices across the minerals supply chain, developed in collaboration by the Responsible Minerals Initiative and The Copper Mark. The standard states that its criteria "build on key characteristics of due diligence derived from international references", including the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct, the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct and the OECD Due Diligence for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
