EU Batteries Regulation (EUBR)

Regulation 2023/1542 establishing sustainability, safety, and due diligence requirements for the entire lifecycle of batteries placed on the EU market, including responsible sourcing of raw materials, carbon footprint limits, and recycling obligations.

Consumer rights: batteries must be removable/replaceable; labels and digital battery passports required.
