Where the German Supply Chain Act stands today
The German Government has decided that the current Supply Chain Act will remain in force during the legislative transition until it is replaced by a new law aligned with the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). During this interim period, the government plans to reduce compliance burdens for companies covered by the existing Act. An amendment to implement these changes has already been initiated by the Federal Government. Further information is available through the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS).
