The United States and Ukraine signed a strategic minerals partnership to strengthen cooperation on critical mineral supply chains, focusing on materials essential for clean energy and defence technologies. This deal aims to reduce reliance on Chinese and Russian supply chains while supporting Ukraine’s economic resilience and post-war recovery. It also emphasizes technical assistance, investment opportunities, and regulatory alignment to develop Ukraine’s mining sector sustainably and transparently.
