Un­der­stand­ing the EU supply chain law and its re­quire­ments for businesses

The EU Supply Chain Law, formally known as the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), will require large companies operating in the EU to identify, prevent, and address adverse human rights and environmental impacts throughout their value chains. It also introduces obligations for companies to adopt risk-based due diligence policies and establish grievance mechanisms. This directive aims to promote responsible business conduct and ensure corporate accountability across global operations.
