TwinVECTOR conference explores the future of batteries and society in Prague
On October 23, 2025, the TwinVECTOR Conference titled Next-Generation Batteries, Next-Generation Societies took place in Prague, bringing together experts from European research, policy, and industry. The event focused on aligning battery innovation with societal needs, featuring speakers from Horizon Europe projects, national institutions, and BEPA. Key sessions explored cross-border cooperation, societal readiness in battery R&I, and responsible innovation. Presentations from projects like SMHYLES, SOLiD, MADITRACE, and DiliCHANCE highlighted interdisciplinary approaches to sustainability, digital control, and raw material traceability. The conference concluded with networking and a shared commitment to future-ready, inclusive battery technologies.
The coordinator of the TwinVECTOR project was Tomas Bata University in Zlín.
