European Commission plans to streamline rules and ease compliance for businesses

The European Commission has proposed measures to reduce administrative burdens on businesses by simplifying reporting requirements under key EU laws such as the CSRD, Taxonomy Regulation, and SFDR. The goal is to improve the overall business environment, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises, while maintaining the EU’s sustainability objectives. The initiative is part of the EU’s effort to balance competitiveness with regulatory efficiency in support of its green and digital transitions.
