EU launches ReMIS platform to boost transparency in mineral supply chains

News October 2, 2025

The European Commission launched ReMIS (Responsible Mineral Information System) to improve transparency in mineral supply chains. It is a voluntary platform where companies can register and share their due-diligence policies and best practices. Entries on ReMIS can cover a wide range of minerals and metals, including 3TG (tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold), as well as any other mineral or metal. Its goal is to promote responsible sourcing and increase public trust without changing existing EU legal requirements.
