2026 OECD Conference of Mining Regions and Cities

The 2026 OECD Conference of Mining Regions and Cities takes place 28-30 October 2026 in Antofagasta, Chile. Organised by the OECD Centre for Entrepreneurship, SMEs, Regions and Cities, it brings together national and subnational governments, mining companies, Indigenous communities and other stakeholders to examine how mining regions can connect national critical mineral strategies with local well-being and development. The programme focuses on regional and rural development, Indigenous communities, and turning mineral wealth into lasting local benefit.
